Hey there fur-buddies,

I am "Twix"; a guinea-pig who lives in the 'MAXDOG' household, in Johannesburg, South Africa. I was rescued on the 15th July 2012 and brought into this home. I was in appalling condition - terrified, tiny, undernourished, bitten, doused in disinfectant & extremely young. Maxmom set about nursing me back to health.

Soon after I arrived here, I also discovered that I was pregnant. My one-and-only, very large pup, "Stardust" was born by Caesarian section through the efforts of the wonderful veterinarians at RADIOKOP ANIMAL CLINIC. She lived for 36 hours before crossing the Rainbow bridge. (You can read about it HERE) Maxmom was really sad, but determined to give me the best life I could dream of; I, too, will be 'LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX'
