Hello there Tiddly-winks,
This is my very first blogpost and this blog is dedicated to all the younger readers who choose to follow my life.
My name is 'TOT' and I am an Abyssinian Guinea-pig. I make strange noises that sound like 'Wheet!...Wheet!...Wheet!...' although they mean much more than that! Usually these sounds mean: "I WANT FOOD!"
I am decorated in all shades of pretty brown, soft fur, and I have a mowhawk along the top of my head. I also have a sweet white face and four legs that enable me to scuttle about in my crate - fetching food and hiding from the peeps. At the moment, I live in a very small, make-shift house, but am hoping to get a bigger one real soon. The peeps love holding me and stroking me, so I am getting tamer by the day. I don't mind sitting still at all if I am given some cucumber!!!
The main 'Peep' (They say her name is 'Maxmom') is fostering me for the moment. My mommy-pig's name is 'SODA' and she belongs to 'Miss R' who lives at her university residence during the week. At weekends, SODA and SCOTCH (the other bigger piggy) come home. I hope I to get to play with them over weekends, until I find a suitable 'Forever home'. But during the week, I will be on my own - with the Peeps fussing over me.
My sweet little sister - "Winnie" - will be going to her forever home today. I think I am going to miss her, but we'll see. SODA, Winnie and I made a sweet threesome when we were growing up.
(That's me...right at the bottom!)
I am so glad to meet you, dear fur-friends. I hope you are going to enjoy my little posts. I have some fun stories to tell you, so be sure to tell you friends about me.
See ya soon,
"Wheet...!, Wheet...!, Wheet...!"
"TOT"
You are SO adorable! Seeing you is bringing back memories of when my sons were small. We had a couple of piggies that lived several years each. They were adorable...
